Are you still using arrow keys to go back & edit your command history? Time to vim some vim. Type
q: to open your command history, and you can edit it with all the regular vim editing power, and then re-run your ammended command.
If you've ever constructed a complicated search & replace and got one character wrong, this command will save your sanity, as modifying & re-running it becomes easy.
